Need Help?

You may utilize the Kearney Food Pantry every 2 full weeks or once a month for a temporary period of time. This will be determined at time of application for assistance. The Kearney Food Pantry exists to assist you during a temporary financial need. While we can't help you monetarily, we can provide you with some food and/or paper and cleaning items if they are available to us. Your case will be reviewed every 6 months.


Everyone hits a bump in the road from time to time. If you or someone your know is in need don't hesitate to call or come in. No one should go hungry. Don't let a situation get you down, we're here to help.

Tuesdays, 2-4 p.m. Thursdays, 3-6:30 p.m.
The Kearney Food Pantry will be closed if the Kearney R-1 School District is closed due to inclement weather.

For all members of your household

Address Verification

Like a water or electric bill. Something other than a drivers license.

Such as a pay stub or unemployment form.

Helping the Kearney Food Pantry

The Kearney Food Pantry partners with Harvesters to obtain food items for cents on the pound. Monetary donations are always welcome to fund this source and to purchase items for immediate need that the pantry might be lacking.

Our biggest resource have been churches and groups within the churches, social circles, organizations, scout groups, 4-H clubs, businesses and individuals. We're so thankful for your ongoing food drives, volunteerism, and community related efforts. We couldn't do this without you!
